Abaddon, "The Destroyer." By Jay Carcharadon (age 33) "They had as king over them the angel of the Abyss, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon and in Greek is Apollyon (that is Destroyer)."
My goal for this project is to use many styles of images to portray each of the chapters of the book of Revelation. I want to use both historical and modern art. By famous artists and by young less known artists. I included the age of the artist if the information was available so that the viewer can understand the perspective of each artists and how it might relate to their age. I want to use images that represent the text directly and some that are symbolic of, or an interpretation. I hope you enjoy this wide span of the Art of Revelation.
